Sweet Italian Sausage Ragu
In a medium bowl, combine sausage and wine, making sure all the wine is incorporated; let sit at least 5 minutes.
Start to bring generously salted water to a boil.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add sausage mixture and cook, breaking it up with a spoon into very small pieces until it’s no longer pink and half the liquid has evaporated, 5 to 7 minutes.
Add 1 Jar of Monte’s Tomato Sauce to the skillet along with basil; simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain it and return it to the pot of sauce.
Stir in Parmesan. Continue to toss pasta with sauce, until it begins to thicken and stick to the noodles. Serve with additional Parmesan and parsley, if desired.
