Monte’s Original Family Recipe Tomato Sauce
Pastina
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook the pastina according to package instructions until al dente.
In a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Pour the Montes tomato sauce into the pan with the garlic and stir to combine.
Simmer the tomato sauce for 5-10 minutes.
Drain the cooked pastina and add it to the pan with the tomato sauce. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
